Omnom is a small batch artisan chocolate maker based in Reykjavik, Iceland. Co-founder Kjartan Gíslason worked as a chef across Europe for nearly two decades before discovering bean-to-bar chocolate. He teamed up with his childhood friend Óskar Þórðarson and they started sourcing cacao beans from around the world. They set up a small production lab inside a converted petrol station in Reykjavik and have since moved to a larger production space just along the road.
Omnom’s mission is to make the best chocolate possible using the best cacao beans available, with flavour pairings very much inspired by their native Iceland. Their combination of chocolate and lakkrís (Icelandic for liquorice) is a local bestseller and their milk chocolate has distinctive notes of the fermented milk commonly found in Iceland.
