
Green Wind Farm
Julie Wolcott and Steve MacCausland came to Green Wind Farm in the spring of 1979 with two draft horses and some goats. Neither of them came with a farming background, but each with a deep respect for the land. They’ve grown the farm from its original eighty-eight acres to its current three hundred, focusing primarily on dairy and maple syrup. Julie and Steve also maintain extensive gardens, have a home-scale orchard, and raise pigs, layers, and broilers on the farm.
