The cheese program at Greene Grape Provisions is one of the most reputable in NYC, boasting over 250 unique cheeses and charcuterie from all over the world. Our case is composed of many American artisanal cheeses, supplemented by a meticulously curated selection of iconic European cheeses. Your favorite Old World classics like Comte and Manchego are at home in our case, right next to up-and-coming icons from domestic farmstead creameries.

Our sourcing practices emphasize “real” cheeses that are a true expression of their environment, and promote products that are in line with the Slow Food tenets of “good, clean, and fair”. Our charcuterie offerings highlight American producers using antibiotic-free, pasture-raised meat from local family farms that pride themselves on their happy and healthy heritage-breed animals. Responsible agricultural practices and animal welfare are key factors in all of our buying decisions, and our buyer has visited many of our makers in the US and Europe to form personal relationships with them and ensure we are representing them accurately and passionately.
