Greene Grape Provisions offers an abundant and attractive line of upscale pantry, dairy, and frozen staples among unique and specialty items you can’t find easily anywhere else.
Our products are sourced from a myriad of distributors, vendors, and marketplaces to bring in the best quality products at the best price. With a focus on sustainable, ethically made, and locally manufactured products, we do our part to make a more viable food system. Promoting women and minority-owned businesses is paramount to a diverse, just, and equitable foodscape, and we pride ourselves on being selective not only with our products, but with our vendors too.
Our dairy offerings highlight products from farms and producers we can believe in. Our milk and eggs come from farms where animals are treated like part of the family, with expansive pastures to roam and diverse grazing. We like to choose yogurts, dips, desserts, and other refrigerated staples made right here in New York. Find perennial favorites like White Moustache yogurt—we always *try* to keep the sour cherry in stock!—as well as Gowanus-based Gotham Greens pesto and Four & Twenty Blackbirds pies.
The freezer at Provisions consists of sweet treats, delectable entrees and sides, and fruits and vegetables ready to throw into your next recipe. We’re constantly introducing limited edition ice creams (shout out to Jeni’s Everything Bagel ice cream) and making space for highly coveted items like Fly by Jings XL Soup Dumplings and It’s-It Ice Cream Sandwiches. We like to keep our selection fresh, keeping our customers (and ourselves!) interested, so there’s always something new to look out for when shopping at Greene Grape Provisions.
While many of the products we carry are already well-established, popular items, we constantly assess whether customers are still wowed by our selection, and whether the product still meets our standards. We’re proud to say we’ve been an early step for local producers to find their footing on their way to nationwide recognition, sometimes even being the first retailer to carry them!
